Features Overview

Soft touch convenience
While other solutions require a separate motor to move the heads this deck head assembly is moved by torque borrowed from from the existing transport motor. The result – less pressure required to operate the controls. It also has a mechanical logic system so you can switch from fast forward or rewind directly to play without using stop button.
MX head
This deck is equipped with MX head high resistant to wear (something similar to GX heads from AKAI). This tape also achieves great results with normal and chrome tapes and outstanding sound quality with metal tapes. 3position tape selector switch sets the deck to appropriate bias and equalization for the tape of your choice.Rewind autoplay
Press rewind and play simultaneously and return to your seat while the deck does the work for you.CUE and Review
CUE and Review makes it simple to find any selection. When the ff or rewind button is pushed during playback – the playback sound can be monitored through the speakers (although the sound will be garbled).
Advantages
  • great sound
  • soft touch buttons
  • simple design with essential, easy to operate controls only
Disadvantages
  • built-in RCA wires of questionable quality
  • non-adjustable headphone output
  • according to some reviewers despite Panasonic marketing promises about wear resistant heads – they do wear and it can result a bit muffled sound
