Lossless vs. Compressed

We are music lovers. And we love quality music recordings. How far the enthusiast can go to get the best sound possible? Well, this is the question of personal preferences, level of demand, and budget.

The majority of REVINTAGES team prefers FLACs. We also may use MP3s, but only as a “mobile format”. We also admire some well-done digital vinyl-rips. Although the benefit of lossless seems to be obvious – there is another factor, that may affect the main storage format for music: our ability to hear the difference.
